Divorce
The divorce happened. You feel that you have made great strides in the past, move and are now thinking that you are now reading to date again. But, as you begin to think about dating after divorce, there are a few other things to think about this run dating back to the last time you were there. One of those has to do with your children. How will they react to your meeting? <BR> <BR> Today, we take a look at a major determinant in terms of their reaction to it. Unfortunately, you do not have much control over it. You are just stuck dealing with the consequences of it. This factor has to do with how involved their other parent. <BR> <BR> If you and your former spouse actively participated in your kids lives since the divorce that will bode well for the two of you when you think about dating again. One of the main concerns of children when their parents have to start dating is a fear of abandonment. <BR> <BR> They fear that the other person can replace them in the apple of your eye. Think about it a second, they have already experienced a kind of abandonment of their other parent. That makes this doubly strong fear for your children when you begin dating. You are all they have. What happens if you choose to check out? Who are they then left? <BR> <BR> So, if you are not to blame for this one, what can you do with it? <BR> <BR> Concentrate on what you most. <BR> <BR> First, make sure you are present for your children. What does that mean? It means not only be physically in the house with them, but also be there emotionally. Let them know that you are sad their other parent is not to the extent that they want them to be. This means letting them know that it’s good for them to talk about this with you. It does NOT mean that things are going well for you in the mouth of their bad parent. That will not make them feel better. It allows them to know simply that you are not sure which person to talk about this subject. <BR> <BR> Then, be sure not to start too early dating. Find someone special may seem like
